Candidates Who Support 911 Alternatives Lead Primaries in Washington Cities

According to a 2022 article in the Washington Post... "In at least 178 cases from 2019 to 2021, police responding to mental health calls, wellness checks or reported suicide threats killed the individuals they were called to assist." PNW Street Medics previously posted a link to the Don't Call The Police web-site (https://dontcallthepolice.com/) that provides alternatives to calling 911 in many cities. Of course there may be times when the police are the right answer to a problem, but too often the arrival of the police makes the situation worse... having alternatives to 911 is important.
